How to Solve Problems of Coding Decoding?

Coding Decoding 

This type of questions generally asked in Banking Exams i.e. IBPS PO,IBPS RRB,SBI as well as other government exam i.e. RRB NTPC & SSC. These questions are very easy to answer but you should know the strategy behind it. It takes a little time if you follow the strategies .

There are 6 different types of coding decoding

Letter Coding
Number Coding
Mixed Coding

1.Letter Coding

In Letter Shifting Problems in Coding Decoding, we just need to find the relationship between one pair of words. It has three different types. We will discuss them one by one.


Type 1 : 



Type 2: 

The second type is instead of shifting each other,letters are moved.


Type 3: 

In the third type letters are shifted in the alphabet as well as their positions in the word are moved.


2. Number Coding

In Number coding type of questions, either numerical code values are assigned to a word or alphabetical code letters are assigned to the numbers. 

If in a certain language if ENTRY is coded as 12345 and STEADY is coded as 931785, How TENANT is coded as in that code?



3. Mixed Coding

In Mixed letter coding type of questions, three or four complete messages are given in the coded language and the code for a particular word is asked. 

In a certain code, 'bi nie pie' means 'some good jokes' : 'nie bat lik' means 'some real stories' ; and 'pie lik tol' means 'many good stories'. Which word in that code means 'jokes' ?

Here are the important things to follow for JAM 2017 Exam.

              1. Know the Syllabus 

       This is the first step for any exam you are going to give. The IIT Jam exam has been conducted for the following subject

  4.     Candidates are expected to choose one of the following, if they get offer 
  5.     Accept and Freeze
  6.     Accept with Upgrade
  7.     Reject and Quit
  8.     Accept ** decisions are followed by payment of Seat-Booking Fee 
  9.     Note: The Accept ** decisions are considered as complete only with successful                           payment of Seat-Booking Fee.
  10.     Reject and Quit decision is followed by confirmation OTP entered by the candidate            JOAPS.
  11.     All Candidates offered admission by organising Institute will receive formal offer letter by     Admitting Institutes.
  12.     Candidates who chose Accept ** decisions can withdraw from the programme by log         into JOAPS and by selecting Withdraw.
  13.     Withdraw decision is confirmed by entering the OTPin JOAPS.
  14.     Candidate reports to Admitting Institute on the day of admission as per the offer letter         from Admitting Institute.
