How to Prepare For IIT JAM 2017 ?
IIT JAM 2017
It is the Joint Admission Test
for Master of Science (M.Sc.) and other post-graduate science programs at the
Indian Institutes of Technology, Indian Institute of Science, and other
institutes.

Here are the important things to follow for JAM 2017 Exam.
- Know the Syllabus
- Know the Exam Pattern
- Find out the best study material
- Make Strict Schedule for study
- Solve previous year question papers & mock test papers.
1. Know the Syllabus
This is the first
step for any exam you are going to give. The IIT Jam exam has been conducted
for the following subject
Biological
Sciences
Biotechnology
Chemistry
Geology
Mathematics
Mathematical
Statistics
Physics.
Choose
the subject which follow your stream & find out the topic firstly & than
find out the subtopics of each topic. Don’t miss out any topic & point out
the topic which has been asked frequently.
2. Know the Exam Pattern
The duration of
exam will be 3 hours. The exam will full objective type. There will be three
sections for this exam.
Section
A: Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) – 30 questions
Section
B: Multiple Select Question (MSQ) – 10 questions
Section
C: Numerical Answer Type (NAT) Questions-20 questions
There
will be total of 60 questions carrying 100 marks.
3. Find out the Best Study Material
Don’t buy any book which is suggested by your friend or any
other acquaintance. Go through the book. You can take help of online coaching also;
they will provide you their sample paper so if you find sample papers good
enough than you can go for the whole study material. You can also find out
books on amazon, Flipkart but check their reviews before buying. Here is the list

4. Make Strict Schedule for study
Make to time table, give more priorities to the topics which cover more
marks. You can also give more time to the topic in which you are weak & yes
don’t take this time table lightly. Follow this strictly yes but you can skip
it on occasional day. Don’t be too strict.
5. Solve Previous Year Question Papers & Mock test Paper
Find the last 10 Years papers & solve them .If you join online coaching than you can easily get it,otherwise you can download it from anywhere else.Everything needs practice so start giving mock test papers & analyze your performance & improve it.
