Combined graduate level
exam is one of the exams conducted by staff selection commission, it is held in
2 phases namely Tier-I and tier-II, Tier-I is for screening the candidates for
tier-II, no separate registration is needed for tier-II candidates who qualify
Tier-I examination gets informed about the next exam along with their results
on commission's website
SSC CGL has postponed exam
dates for august. SSC CGL 2015 exam was conducted in august last year. This
year we can expect changes in SSC CGL exam pattern.
SSC CGL Exam Eligibility
Nationality
A candidate must be either:
(a) a citizen of India, or
(b) a subject of Nepal, or
(c) a subject of Bhutan, or
(d) a Tibetan refugee who
came over to India, before the Ist January, 1962 with the
intention of permanently
settling in India.
Educational Qualifications
Candidate Must have
completed their graduation in any curriculum.
Age Limit for SSC CGL
The age Limit for most of
the posts is 18 to 27 years, but there is some post, for which upper age limit
is relaxable to 32 years.
Staff Selection Commission
released a new notice on 6th June 2016, mentioning some changes in the age
limit of some posts under CGL Exam. See below the official notice.

Syllabus for SSC CGL Tier-I
- General Intelligence and Reasoning
- General Awareness
- Quantitative Aptitude
- English Comprehension
Syllabus for SSC CGL Tier-2
- Quantitative Abilities (100 questions of 200 marks)
- English Language and Comprehension (200 questions of 200 marks)
- Statics (100 questions of 200 marks)
Important Instructions For SSC CGL Exam
- NO CHANGES will be made after submission of the application form.
- candidates must keep the copy of challan or online payment details and present them if required.
- Application forms with blurred photographs or incomplete details will be rejected
- Payments either online or offline will be made only through state bank of India either via online banking or credit or debit card or through challan
- Photograph uploaded must be in JPG format and have resolution of 100 X 120 pixels (width X height) and size between 4-12 kb.
It is advised to all the candidates that start their SSC CGL Preparation.It is not easy to crack SSC CGL Exam.
